We had a lovely stay at Gites De Botplancon in Saint-Aignan. The location was excellent, with peaceful walks by the lake just a short distance away. The hosts, Fabienne and Nadine, were incredibly helpful and attentive during our time there. In particular, they went above and beyond to assist us during a crisis situation, and we are truly grateful for their support. The restaurant in the village was also a highlight, with delicious food and a charming atmosphere. we had a very enjoyable experience in this lovely village and would recommend Gites De Botplancon to others.

I recently stayed at Gites De Botplancon for a weekend getaway to celebrate a friend's birthday. The house was beautifully kept and nestled in a tranquil forest location, just above a quaint little village. The owners clearly took pride in their property, as it was immaculate with lovely little touches. The accommodation was ideal, with plenty of kitchen utensils, a comfy bed, and a nice little outside area with seating and a BBQ. The host was friendly and provided us with all the information we needed to find the place. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the peacefulness, and the thoughtful gestures like provided emergency food and a 4G hub.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent stay at this accommodation. the room was lovely, warm, and comfortable, with a nice little terrace for relaxation. the shower room was excellent, equipped with hand wash and shower gel. the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals easily. the location was quiet and tranquil, close to the village, and had a real holiday feel. the owners have clearly put a lot of pride and effort into maintaining the place immaculately.
The instructions for the washing machine and cooker were in French, which could be challenging for international guests.

A hidden gem in the heart of nature! The cottage was beautifully maintained and had a lovely terrace for private relaxation. The host was friendly and provided helpful directions to the property. It was nestled in a tranquil spot, just a short distance from the charming village. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was also impressive, with great water pressure.
Finding the cottage was a bit of a challenge as there was no signage, and we had to call the owner for assistance. The WiFi was slow and unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected.

Loved the "garden with a barbecue" - perfect for my impromptu outdoor cooking sessions. Also, the "nearest airport" being different each time added some excitement to my journey.
Oh, how I enjoyed sitting sideways on the toilet! Such a refreshing and unique experience.
